All events need an effective, charismatic and energetic Master of Ceremonies. That’s where I come in! Most weddings only begin with the ceremony, and then you’ve got a whole evening of festivities ahead. Whether you just want me for an extra hour to help organise the group photos, or plan on keeping me to wind things up at the end of the night so you’re not the “bad-guy” at the end of the party – I’m keen to be a part of it all!
I’m also happy to MC for any other events you have planned as well. In the past I’ve been the Master of Ceremonies gala dinners, wedding receptions, conferences, and have extensive experience in public speaking for groups between 10-600.

Whether you’ve felt the spark re-ignite or want to showcase your love to family and friends after an off-shore wedding, vow renewals are the way to go.
Let me help you to recreate your special day, or make new memories that are even better! You can choose to write your vows alone and have me solely as your celebrant, or we can spend as long as you like crafting the perfect words for you and your partner.
Vow Coaching
How do you sum up your love for your partner in just a few sentences? It seems tricky, but that’s where I can help! Some couples want vow coaching together, and others want to keep these a secret until the last moment! Regardless of what you’re looking for, making sure you both hit the same vibe, have vows that are of similar length and make sure that they are something to remember is so important.
I have received professional training from the Celebrant School as part of my ongoing professional development, so who better than a qualified professional to help out?
Wedding Planning & Event Management
Perhaps you don’t need a Celebrant or Master of Ceremonies at all, and really, you just want a professional who knows how to organise a great event and has proven experience in this.
In the past I have organised professional networking events, seminars, industry conferences, gala dinners, weddings, group trips domestically and internationally, significant birthdays and milestones, as well as supporting the delivery of countless other events. Whatever your occasion – I can help turn your dream event into a reality.
If you want me to help plan your wedding, this is likely to be one of the happiest days of your life – don’t also let it be the most stressful. As an experienced all-round event organiser, I’m proud to have flawlessly collaborated on and planned weddings for some of my closest friends
I’m happy to play on the sidelines in the lead up to your big day, or be there in person, running around, clipboard and all. I’ll be as involved or laid back as you like. If you can dream it, I can make it happen.
An important note: I am only legally allowed to solemnise marriages in New Zealand, but this doesn’t mean I can’t be involved in your wedding overseas! While I can’t run the ceremony, or pretend to run the ceremony, I can be your onsite event manager for the duration of your celebrations anywhere in the world.

Arguably the latest big craze - and I offer these with a twist!
Firstly, as an outside party, I’m able to keep a secret, plan your special reveal to family and friends, and help you celebrate the soon-to-be newest member of your family! Using a celebrant means getting access to the skills and expertise of a professional public speaker, event organiser and all-round party planner!

Not Weddings
Civil Unions
Maybe marriage doesn’t feel right for you and your partner, but you still want a legally recognised partnership. This is where a civil union can be the perfect ceremony. While this was previously the only option for same-sex couples to have a legally recognised relationship, with the Definition of Marriage Amendment Act, we have seen fewer and fewer civil unions, but that doesn’t mean they’re not an option!
I am a fully registered and trained civil union celebrant. If this is the style of ceremony that works for you and your partner, get in touch and we can talk more about crafting a ceremony that is right for you.
Commitment Ceremonies
Maybe a civil union isn’t right for you either, or maybe you’re in a polyamorous relationship. Whatever your reason, you want your friends and family to know how much you love and care for the people around you. If this is the case – lets make your love known loudly and proudly!
A commitment ceremony or declaration of love looks and feels like a wedding ceremony as much as you want it to. The key difference is there is no legal paperwork and no need for legally binding vows to be exchanged. This type of ceremony will work for couples that don’t want to be legally recognised by the government as a partnership. It will also work for polygamous couples who want the look and feel of a wedding, without having to decide on a single partner for marriage.

I have a background in planning, hosting, running and organising a large range of events. From organising domestic travel for large groups, being a Master of Ceremonies, officiating wedding ceremonies, organising government conferences, throwing gala dinners for international companies, being a wedding planner, or organising large-scale birthday surprises, it’s fair to say I’ve got my fair experience in throwing a great party.
