Thank you for trusting me to help you during these difficult days.

The Process

If your loved one has already passed, they are likely already in the care of a funeral home. If this is the case, your funeral director is your “one stop shop” for all things planning – they are the professional here who’s job it is to do this. They will have a list of celebrants that they will recommend and have used in the past, but this doesn’t mean you have to pick one from their recommended lists – you’re more than welcome to reach out directly to me to discuss how I can support you.

If your loved one has not yet passed, and you are looking to make arrangements, I’m also more than happy to help you in this process. While you will still need to select a funeral home, I’m able to help you with the funeral service planning. Depending on your situation, you may want me to meet with your loved one so we can plan things together.

If you are looking to plan a memorial service or an interment of ashes, I’m also able to help with this. In this situation you no longer need to involve a funeral home (who takes responsibility of the body of the deceased), and therefore you are able to reach out to me directly and we can start discussing whatever it is you want to.

Regardless of your situation, please feel free to reach out directly. I’m more than happy to work with any funeral home in the Wellington region (if your situation requires this), or directly with you to make sure that your loved one is remembered in the way that is best for you.

Services

Funerals
Memorials
Interment of Ashes

For each of these services I charge $550. This includes working with you and/or the funeral home, and as many meetings as required to help construct a service that is right for you and your family.

If your loved one is in the care of a funeral home and you are working with a funeral director, it is likely that they have already accounted for the celebrant’s fee in their quote to you – this means you don’t need to pay me twice. It’s best to double check with your funeral home what their fees cover.
